To ensure that your warranty remains intact, we offer a unique industry guarantee that includes the following:
- Remove existing roof(s) and haul away debris.
- Prepare roofing surface by removing perimeter-protruding nails & re-nailing any loose wood.
- Arrange & schedule for a termite inspection.
- Trim existing starter board to align with fascia.
- Install 1/2” sheathing per city building codes (if needed).
- Install Leak Barrier (PEEL and STICK) membrane in high-risk areas of roof (valleys, pipes, vents, chimneys, skylights, rake to wall and roof to wall joints).
- Install COOL ROOF GUARD underlayment with plastic cap nails over entire deck.
- Install baked enamel drip edge metal at perimeter of roof for added watertight protection.
- Install valley, pan, chimney and vent cap flashings as needed (26 gauge metal).
- Install galvanized metal pipe and vent cap flashings to meet manufacturer’s specifications.
- Install ridge and soffit ventilation system to meet manufacturer’s specifications.
- Install new 30, 40, 50 year or Lifetime Composition field shingles using six (6) hot dipped nails per shingle.
- Install high definition hip and ridge shingles in corresponding color.
- Seal all joints and cracks around pipe jacks, vents & openings with polyurethane sealant.
- Paint all vents and pipes to closely match roof.
- Paint all visible replacement wood (customer to supply paint).
- Install spark-arrestors on all chimneys (if needed).
- Clean up your yard and remove all debris.
- Register complete roof with manufacturer’s CERTIFIED “Non-prorated” transferable warranty.
- Perform Factory-Certified 40-Point Roof Inspection by Manufacturer.
- Issue complimentary membership into the Roof Protection Plan for first three (3) years.
